Here at GraphicRiver we’ve been blessed with a deluge of submissions since we opened beta, but we want more! What better way to celebrate beta than to hold a competition for beta authors? Here’s the deal: We’ll track all files uploaded during beta, and the ones that sell the most in the first month after public launch in each category (Graphics, Vectors, Icons and Add-ons) will each win US$400.

The Details

To be eligible, simply upload a file for approval before the end of the beta period. Approved files in all categories of upload are eligible for the competition. The end of beta and live launch is set for February 24th so get those Vectors, PSDs, Icons, and Add-ons ready!

• Items must be uploaded before the 11:59PM February 23rd (EST). Note that the item doesn’t need to have been approved by that deadline, it just needs to be submitted.
• Existing files that were uploaded prior to this announcement are also eligible.

The Prizes

Up for grabs are 4 prizes of $400 (USD) to be paid via PayPal only.

Announcement of Winners

The winners will be announced here on the blog, in the first week of April (approximately 1 week after the close of the competition).  Winners will also be contacted via email to arrange for collection of the prizes.

Rules

The rules are as follows:

• Envato staff and reviewers are not eligible to compete
• Only items uploaded before 11:59PM February 23rd (EST) and subsequently approved for sale on GraphicRiver are eligible to count.
• The author of the top selling item in each Category will win $400. Highest selling is determined by the number of purchases, not by monetary revenue.
• Authors can enter as many times as they like and across all categories. Individual authors are eligible to win prizes in multiple categories.
• In the event of a tie, the winning item is the one that has generated the most monetary revenue.  In the event of the items tying in monetary revenue as well, the winning item is the one that was uploaded first.
• All decisions are final.
• Files that are taken down for any reason are not eligible to be counted.
• Files must stay up on GraphicRiver for at least 6 months after launch.
• Winner will be paid in cash via PayPal ONLY. Any bank or transfer fees will come out of the prize money. If an author does not have PayPal access, they can either receive an Amazon gift voucher or as a Marketplace credit (to be spent on the Envato Marketplaces)
