I was recently browsing Deviant Art and came across the profile page of Mike Mitchell. His portfolio is very hard to explain. It is definitely one of the ones you have to see to understand. He is a digital painter, t-shirt designer, and creator of humorous art. That is about as best as I can describe him. Below are some samples of his work.

I just kind of haphazardly stumbled across the portfolio of Wesley Burt. After looking around his portfolio, I’m not sure if he is a general artist or concept artist. Either way, his portfolio is pretty cool. Check out his site, lots of cool stuff.

This weeks inspiration comes to you in the form of some pretty creative fan art. The Simpsons have been on the air for over ten years. In that course of time it is only natural that they would have inspired some people. This post is some concrete proof of that statement.

Im kind of a geek when it comes to comics. I make a trip to the comic book store at least once a month, sometimes more. I am in no way shape or form a comic book artist, but I really appreciate all the hard work and creativity that goes into some of these illustrations. While there are a ton of exceptional comic book artists out there, I wanted to share with you a few of my favorites. I am particularly found of these guys as they seem to have a style that can stand out from some of the more traditional comic book artists.

Odds are, you have probably seen some Glenn Jones designs before without even knowing it. His illustrations feature an ironic comedy to them that often gets them listed on those “best of” lists that are all over Stumble Upon and the blogosphere in general. I just happen to come across his portfolio on Behance where he has a few of his unprinted t-shirt designs. Some of them are super funny so I thought I would showcase a few.
