Community Forums Competition!

One of the best things about GraphicRiver is its growing community of insanely talented authors, buyers, and general design enthusiasts. Not only do we see amazing design work come through the submission queue every day, but our forums are filled with helpful and knowledgeable people willing to help each other out or share the many design resources available on the web. Participating in the forums can be valuable in itself, but it’s about to become a whole lot more valuable! We’re announcing the start of a Community Forums Competition! Win prizes by merely participating on the forums with fellow authors and buyers! Interested? Details inside.

The Details

We are giving away three prizes of $100 USD to the most interesting posts to the forums. This can be the most interesting discussion starter, the most valuable shared resource, design insight, or even the most off-beat or humorous post to the Off-Topic section. To be eligible, simply start a thread or join in the discussion on the GraphicRiver forums between today, June 10th, and July 10th, 2009. Any post, whether it starts a new thread or adds to an existing conversation, will be eligible for the competition.

• Posts must be made before 11:59PM July 10th (EST), on the GraphicRiver discussion forums.
• Posts must follow the general guidelines of forum etiquette. Posts containing explicit materials, advertising spam, or general trolling behavior will be handled by our moderators.
• Three winners will be selected from the eligible posts. Users can win multiple times from more than one post, so keep participating!
• Posts will be judged by its level of engagement and value to the community. Value can be found in providing valuable resources, asking interesting questions, making humorous remarks, adding unique insight, or just plain being interesting.

Up for grabs are 3 prizes of $100 USD for three separate posts.

Announcement of Winners

The winners will be announced here on the blog, during the week of July 13th. Winners will also be e-mailed using their registered e-mail address.

Rules

The rules are as follows:

• Envato staff and reviewers are not eligible to compete
• Only forum posts before 11:59PM July 10th (EST) are eligible.
• Judging will take place at the end of competition, by GraphicRiver staff and moderators.
• Members can enter as many times as they like and individual members are eligible to win prizes for multiple posts.
• In the event of a tie by the judging team, final winners will be selected by the Site Manager and Marketplace Director.
• All decisions are final.
• Posts that are taken down for any reason are not eligible to be counted.
• Winner will be paid in cash via PayPal ONLY. Any bank or transfer fees will come out of the prize money. If an member does not have PayPal access, they can either receive an Amazon gift voucher or as a Marketplace credit (to be spent on the Envato Marketplaces).
