Stylish Retro Twitter Backgrounds

I love Twitter, maybe too much. It is constantly pulled up on one of my dual monitors. Rather than keeping track of things via the Twitter page though, I use TweetDeck. So, until recently I never worried about a Twitter background. I mean, how often do you really go and visit someones Twitter page? Am I just out of the loop here?

Regardless of the fact that I rarely visit Tweeters actual Twitter page, I decided to spice mine up a bit for the people that do. Im to busy/lazy to make my own background, so I decided to browse the web for some cool backgrounds. While there are a lot of Twitter background sites out there, I was most impressed with Twitter Patterns.

The Twitter Patterns site is simple. There aren’t any apps or nonsense to help you pimp your Twitter page. Just a simple image file that you upload to your Twitter account. Below are a few of my favorite patters from Twitter Pattern.
