Top 10 Highest Earning Authors on the Envato Marketplaces

Earlier this year the Envato Marketplaces saw their first author to reach the plutonium status and sell more than a quarter of a million dollars worth of files. If that doesn’t inspire you to sell more stuff on the marketplaces, I don’t know what will. It also goes to show you that it is possible to create a very profitable passive income using the marketplaces.

Below is a list of the top earning authors across all the Envato Marketplaces. The number of sales comes from all of the marketplaces. To see a complete list of top sellers, or where you fall on the list, check out this page.

Be sure to check out this page as well, so that you can spot top earners just from the badges on their pages.

Just amazinging… how big the Flash Market is.. I’ve brought a lot at ThemeForest..and Graphic River.

The list makes you realize that if you’re here for the money you should start making flash components immediately.

A simple flash preloader, newsreader or gallery sells hundreds if not thousands of copies when a complex set of icons barely sells a few copies.

It’s all supply and demand of course and probably caused by how reusable flash components are and the fact that not many people are skilled with flash, but it makes you think you’re not getting what you deserve when you spend time creating templates or graphic elements.

This should of been in the Flashden Blog only. lol.

And to think, most people thought Flash was “going out of date” a few years back…. but now people are making thousands from it..
