How to Install a Twitter Background from Graphic River
In order to better serve the awesome artists on Graphic River, I wanted to start doing a few simple tutorials. These tutorials are designed to compliment certian things sold on the Graphic River marketplace. Today, I want to do a simple tutorial on how to add Twitter Backgrounds purchased from the market place to your Twitter profile.
This tutorial assumes that you have already purchased a Twitter background from the marketplace and that you have a Twitter account. If you have not yet done these things, please do so now.
Open a Twitter Account
Shop for Twitter Backgrounds
Step 1
Login to your Twitter account and click on the setting link in the top right hand corner.

Step 2
Click on the design link in the settings area navigation.

Step 3
Towards the bottom of this page you will see a link that says change background image, click on it.

Step 4
Click on the browse button and locate your recently purchased image and add it.

Step 5
Your image should then show up below the uploader form. Depending on the graphic you may or may not want to tile the image. If you are unsure, you can always test the image without being tiled first and if it doesn’t like right, just come back to the design section of your profile and check the tile check box.

Step 6
Click the save changes button and you should be good to go!

Now you knew I’d reply to this one lol.
Simple but good tutorial, thanks.
I’m not claiming to be a ‘no it all’ but just in case someone wants more detail or has problems with thismethod I’ve included the metohd I found to work easiest….

Changing design colors/Suggested Design Colors
———————————————————–
Besides changing the background image of your Twitter account you can also match your image with colors (Settings – Change design colors). See the ‘design-colors’ capture for the design colors suggested for this file.
WARNING: Never use a white (#fff) or almost-white font as it will ‘hide’ your Tweets – it may look pretty on your sidebar but Twitter will inherit it as the navigation and Tweet colors.
